road tunnel built using Tunnel Boring Machines (TBMs), crossing beneath the Old Suez Canal.
This project enhances mobility between the Suez region and southern Sinai, streamlining traffic
flow and fostering strategic transportation links vital to Egypt’s infrastructure and economic
expansion.
